Harley Street Medical Centre

I am a first time patient at HSMC facility in Abu Dhabi, having been referred there by my Doctor at CCAD.The complex itself is modern and efficiently run. The reception staff are focused on making your visit as smooth as possible and very helpful in making that happen. I have already visited the Orthopaedics Dept., Radiography and very soon will have sessions at the Physiotherapy Department. All members of Medical staff I have met to date are extremely professional, as they inform me about my osteoarthritis and how it can be treated. I would highly recommend HSMC for the high calibre of their medical staff and the quality of care given by the nurses and administration. They truly go above and beyond when it comes to patient care.

I attended for a day surgery - everything was on time from checking in, operation time and recovery. My surgeon was excellent and the caring nurses too. The only small complaint was waiting 45mins for anaesthesia appointment the day prior as the doctor was still in procedures. Small complaint as I understand the demands of a theatre. The nurses did however keep me informed of the delay. All in all a great experience with courtesy calls throughout reminding me of my appointments and sorting insurance approvals.

Best place for the caring and treatment Today I had done a surgery with Dr Tamar and Dr Nabeel. As a staff of Harley Street I understood how my colleagues treat a patient, they treated me well, it doesn't mean I am the staff, they are treating everyone like this. My husband is also wondered bcz their love and care. Thank you Harley Street family for this great experience 🙏🏼

Some of their providers are really good and you can get in pretty quickly. The back thing is everything else. They told me to expect test results in 2-3 days. I called a week later. No results. They called me back later that day with the results and seemed agitated, "Well the doctor had to read them first mam." Well don't tell me 2 to 3 days then. The second incident they called me and said I needed to take x-rays or I couldn't proceed with services. I had two upcoming appointments. I asked them to cancel those appointments because I was unable to get in for an x-ray in the next two weeks. They called me the day before my appointment to remind me to come in. I told them it was canceled and gave them the date. Oh will call you back. No one ever called me back. I called them that same evening and again someone will call you back. No one called me back. I called the very next morning and no one picked up the phone. They called me back later that evening and said we noticed that you called today. I explain the situation and the man said the appointments had never been canceled as requested but they would cancel them now. He also told me I could come in for my x-rays at any time. I decided to go the next day. When I got there the next day, they were confused about why I was there and said there was no order for an x-ray. The doctor that I had seen was not there and they were trying to get someone to write the order. I waited for 30 minutes and I told them I would just leave and call back. They had forgotten. As I was driving away, they called me and told me to come back and take the x-ray. I'm going to finish this particular service. But after that I will not be getting any additional medical treatment here.

Wonderful experience with the orthopedic department. Dr Raul was very accomodating and really took the time to listen to my neck issue and thought of possible solutions. I was wary that he would jump to the option of surgery since it was my past experience with surgeons but he really told me that surgery would be the last resort and that we would try the first options to avoid reaching the need for surgery. I apologize to the receptionist(Sharmayn) that I complained to because of the waiting time because it was too long but when I spoke with the doctor, I realized why his consultations take up a lot of time and it's because he really wants to take your history and know your situation. But I still did not like waiting past my appointment so I suggest making the appointments longer like 30 minutes, since it was not just me who complained of the long waiting time. I waited 45 minutes for my turn by the way and I was told that he was doing an injection so there were already about 3 of us complaining and waiting past our appointments. One thing I'm very disappointed about is the coffee in the cafeteria; with the current situation between Palestine and Israel, I hope that you change the coffee in your cafeteria to one that does not support human cruelty. Thank you to Dr Raul, his nurse and the staff for the wonderful experience, and I sincerely hope you take into account the constructive criticism given so you can further improve your service.

My experience with HSMC was positive. I had a surgery done with Dr. Leslie Cannon who was excellent, and informed me about the process of the surgery in detail throughout the whole journey, and it went great and exactly as I had been told it would. Everything went as expected, and I'm very grateful. Reception staff and nurses are very professional, kind, and accommodating. Appointments were always on time, organized, no issues with that.
